God Knows Best

I like to thank God for the opportunity to share a part of my story with you all.

Hello, my name is Cornelius Johnson, I was born and raised in Richmond Va. I am the 2^nd oldest of 6. My mother had 5 boys and a girl. 

The bible declares in Jerimiah 29:11 for I know the Plans I Have for You, declare the Lord, Plans to Prosper YOU and Not Harm you, plans to give You Hope and a Future. I did not know what God plans for me were. You may be feeling the same way. I would encourage you to seek God through the word of God and I believe God will reveal his plan for your life.

For a long time, I had no confidence and I did not know what God Plan was for me. I felt hopeless and fearful as child. I had no idea that the plan God had for me would be what it is today . At a young age I thought I was going to be an inventor; I was fascinated about creating new things. That later turned into a desire of being an entrepreneur and wanting to own my own business.

I grew up in foster care… I lived in 4 different foster homes and lived in a group home for 6 years.  By the time I got to the group home I had a bad attitude. I had buried my desire of being an inventor or an entrepreneur I had become very angry and depressed. 

Fast forward to 2008 I receive a life changing Mandate. God spoke to me and ask me, 

“Are You Ready To Labor So Others Can Reap”? According to Matt 9:37-38. That change my life forever, I was able to see Gods plan for me for the first time, with clarity and understanding.

2008 was the year God gave me vision with a plan. SlimStrength ActiveWear was created. I had no idea that SlimStrength was going to be a sports apparel brand. I knew I wanted a business that would bring people to Christ and give God the glory. I appreciate you taking the time to read my mini preview of who I am.
